Useful English Learning E-Resources

This section includes some useful online English learning e-resources to enhance every glossophile's English language proficiency. Take a look below to see what is offered and get in touch if you have any additional questions.

For the first APP Duolingo, I use small gaps of my time to learn because Duolingo is a very interesting APP including different language games. We have to pass different challenges like spelling, filling the gap, etc. To participate in the challenging games, the ‘heart’ is necessary. If there is no heart, then we could not join any games. And the most important thing is that one's heart will be lost if we do something wrong. In this case, I have to try to make everything correct to get into the next challenge.

For the second website TED, I watch it when I have free time. There are many interesting and meaningful topics in TED. Since all of the TED speeches are not long, maybe 3 or 5 minutes, it is very useful for English learners to spend time on it. It is not only helpful for our English language learning, but also for enhancing our understanding of the culture and other topics that we are interested in.

For the third APP Aurora words, I use it for remembering English vocabulary. There are many functions in it, for example, if we do not remember one word, the word will repeat the next time. Besides, we have to fill in the blanks and spell the words correctly before learning the next groups of words. Thus, I think it is very suitable for me to remember the words.
